How these guides are written

Each guide is based on official texts: the Official State Gazette (Boletín Oficial del Estado, BOE), the Spanish Tax Agency, the Spanish Building Code (Código Técnico de la Edificación), and town hall websites. Sources are cited at the bottom of the page with a link.

The verification date appears at the top of each guide. Rules change: for a specific case, the town hall, a tax adviser or an architect has the final say.
